The Star of Bethlehem or David? , As you would be aware, a statement In the Bible (Num 24),which Daniel would have Taught to the Magi would have suggested to the Magi That a king would be born. The prediction Was made far in advance of the actual Event. The notion of Jacob’s Ladder had Already been articulated earlier and The idea of a seven rung ladder existed With many interpretations. Some would later suggest That the rungs represented 7 Christian virtues, But one notion which took many forms persisted For a very long time and the Magi were familiar With it. It was the idea that the rungs represented 7 planets! It also took ...
The Bible and the Star . In Numbers 24:17, we hear about a sceptre and dominion. In the heavens if you look around you’ll find them in Cepheus, The constellation of the king. But what does Cepheus Translate to? Well, one of its meanings is Gardener. Where else Does a king transpose into a Gardener? Well, remember Mary Seeking Jesus after he had risen, she thought he was a Gardener in the garden near the tomb. I researched the constellation Cepheus, there is a planet known As Tadmor which is 45 light years from earth. It orbits the star Gamma Cephei A, which is in Cepheus. There is a Tadmor On earth. It is in Syria. Tadmor means the city ...
The Rungs in Jacob’s Ladder . By Clarence G. Underwood . Checking spiritual ladders in time We find that they are like a rhythm. Many play to the same tune with A repeating beat of seven from the Sky. That’s right, the Sun, Moon And the five visible planets play That tune. Many cultures say we go And come from heaven that way. The number seven is very popular In Christianity, the seven churches And seven stars. Perhaps that also Includes the Pleiades, those beautiful Seven Stars! That’s the book of Revelations. Other Christian values Are Faith, Hope, Charity plus, Justice, Prudence, Fortitude and Temperance! The number ...

SARM at Poli-Space-Fest 2026 Astro-photo-poem by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe . In May 2026 the Polytechnic University of Bucharest organized a traditional public mega-event dedicated to space sciences, in which SARM, led by Valentin Grigore, made an impressive stand (astrophotography, meteorites, gadgets, books, the famous astro-photo-carpet of Valentin Grigore, planispheres etc.) and gave three astronomical presentations through its president. Below are seven images from the event: a general view, three from SARM’s stand and three from Valentin Grigore’s presentations. . DEFINING MANKIND

Image details: Milky Way zoomed in Credit: A. Ghizzi Panizza/ESO https://www.eso.org/public/images/_DSC5254_1-CC/ “T he human race is just a chemical scum on a moderate-sized planet, orbiting around a very average star in the outer suburb of one among a hundred billion galaxies.” This sentence, spoken once by Stephen Hawking, subjectively and, one has to admit, very peculiarly defines us and pinpoints our place in space. So, here we are; on the third planet from the local Sun, albeit different, basically contradicted concepts of origin, i.e. how it all began. ALMA 1 , for instance, is the project intended, among other things, to addresses ...

The Sun without Sunspots! . Ursa Major. a. Jupiter Late in Spring . It is late in May, a late spring day. As I looked at the Sun, I didn’t See any sunspots, not one. The Day was bright and I was warmed By the heat of the Sun. I did see a Butterfly and hummingbird, they We’re enjoying the bright sunny Day! BRIGHTNESS

The Problem: STEM Education's Hidden Inequality Imagine a school in rural Nepal. Not one student has ever touched a microscope. The science lab—if it exists at all—holds a few dusty glass jars. And the internet? It hasn't arrived yet. This isn't an edge case. Across developing countries, 77% of rural schools lack stable internet . Only 12% have fully equipped science labs . The result? STEM proficiency hovers around 28–32%, compared to 60% in developed nations. Now consider robotic telescopes—those incredible tools that combine physics, mechanics, electronics, programming, and AI. They could transform science education. But commercial systems ...

If you can love the Sun, with spots and prominences, in the heat of summer and in the cold of winter... If the clouds can seem to you characters from stories... If you can remark easily parhelia, halos and sun pillars... If storms don't scare you, but they amaze you with their lightning... If eclipses and occultations don't darken you, but enlighten you... If after every rain you hope for a rainbow... ...

APRIL 6, 2026 (last episode of this series dedicated to Global Astronomy Month 2026) Astro-photo-poem by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe . The last two goals for this series were to photograph the star Arcturus, the chief of the Spring Triangle (after midnight), and the star Vega, the chief of the Summer Triangle (towards morning). So that I don't get bored waiting between them, I also photographed the Moon. Only after that I felt free to enjoy Global Astronomy Month 2026 and the world of the Sun! . #poetry #poetry
